Born on 22nd May 1907, Herge is known as a national symbol in his native country and is also termed as the true “personification of Belgium”. For his contribution to the literary world, he has been awarded various awards. His books have been translated into various languages because of their popularity. He is popularly known as the writer and illustrator of The Adventures of Tintin series that consists of 24 books in total, out of which the 24th book remained incomplete because of his sudden death.
