Kayra, a strong, free-spirited girl, loves life and takes pride in living it on her own terms. Her fierce, unbending outlook is in sharp contrast to that of her submissive best friend, Tia, who has serious family issues. She feels responsible for her friend, who is emotionally dependent upon her and leans on her for all the big and small problems of her life. She is committed to protecting Tia while trying to brace her to face challenges and seize what is rightfully hers.
