Based on primary and secondary data and extensive fieldwork, this book provides an in-depth study of handloom weaving in Andhra Pradesh, which is one of the most important handloom weaving regions in the country. It provides an alternative view and a corrective to the widespread notion that handloom weaving is inherently unviable and noncompetitive.
