Vango is forced to run for his life. In his escape, he meets a colourful tapestry of characters from arms traffickers to crooked policemen, Russian spies to Stalin himself. Flying across Europe from Stromboli to Nazi Germany in a Zeppelin, Vango becomes a master of disguise and escape. He becomes the centre of an international manhunt, and he soon begins to wonder why he is being given this much attention.
