The anthology ‘Verses of Patriotism’ a compilation of fifty-two poems dedicated to India on the occasion of Indian Independence Day falling on August 15, 2023. Through these verses, poets have expressed vivid feelings towards their nation and its journey toward independence, paying tribute to great soldiers and taking pledge to save their nation forever. The poems are melodious, touching and tender evoking the zeal of patriotism, thus absolutely justifying the title of the book. I believe it is an amazing compilation to honour and celebrate the nationality of the people residing in any nation. As an editor, this is a remarkable achievement for Dr. Sonia Gupta to present another anthology on an important theme. Her tireless efforts are highly laudable.
