The party is over. No no no. The party’s still going on. But Shirley has been told that she can’t stay for long. She has to leave. It is time and Shirley reluctantly starts to exit. She steps out the door and turns back. A few people look on tearfully. But the rest move on as though she never existed. The doors are closed. Her party is over. She is in a tunnel –unfamiliar and dark. There are other strange faces looking at her. It is scary but she has to keep walking ahead. There is no other way and there is no turning back. They all walk ahead in this strange untrodden path. The tunnel seems long. But hey, what’s that at the end???… A bright light!
