In the summer of 2014, Meera is engaged to a Tamil brahmin boy who in his early thirties and works at a consulting firm. An arranged marriage proposal turned into a brief affair where Meera believes she has found the one. Two months after Meera’s engagement when she moved to the city of Bangalore, she would learn, her fiancé has deep rooted issues and is abusive.
