“Written under the Stars” is a poetry collection by Ar. Rashi Shashank and is named so because the featured poems are actually written every night by the poet under the stars! The poet feels a deep sense of peace and creativity in the calm of the night, which fuels her thinking, beyond and within her day-to-day life, weaving it into a simple yet fascinating set of words into poetry. She feels deeply enchanted and so little under the blanket of stars which makes her think about the grandeur of the Universe when compared to her individual life.She writes this book as a mere reflection to the sunny days in her life, resulting in poetry that feel like sunshine. The author has expressed selected feel-good poems featuring episodes, incidences, imaginations and descriptions of people, places, things, feelings and so on. The poet has structured a few scenarios alongside of some dreamy episodes of her imaginations. The book has a varied and diverse outlook as the poems in it can be read and understood from different perspectives. The poet wants you to personally visualize and feel the verses as and how the poems proceed. The idea of “Written under the Stars” is that, you, as a reader are to read it before going to bed, so that you can sleep with a sense of satisfaction and a smile on your face.
