You Touched My Heart: Echoes of Love and a Nightmare is the story of an author who runs away from home and adoring parents in order to find love. Summary of the Book The young author’s run concludes on the queen of hills, Mussoorie. She meets a frolicsome, yet a charming man called Cruz, and befriends him. He becomes her best friend and also a guide. Life slowly seems to be tolerable and endurable for her, and one day, Cruz makes her meet a close friend of his called Laine. The author finds herself feeling immensely jealous as she comes to understand that she has been in love with him unknowingly all this time. She also learns that Laine has a dark past and Cruz himself has a messy life to deal with. And she has a yearning for love that’s beyond words. In the meanwhile, the author is on a poignant and terrifying thirteen-day journey, which evokes exhilarating sensations when she discovers the answer to the web of mystery she’d been weaving around an incident that involved herself, Cruz and Laine. About Leema Dhar Leema Dhar was born on the 22nd of December 1993, in Allahabad. She is studying humanities at the Allahabad University, following her passion, although she had secured a high AIEEE rank. You Touched My Heart is her fourth novel. The other three novels penned by Leema are: The Girl Who Kissed the Snake, Mom and I Love a Terrorist, and Till We Meet Again. All her books have been national bestsellers and have been highly commended in the most reputed newspapers like The Times of India and The Hindustan Times among others.  She has also published two anthologies of poems, one in English and the other in Hindi: For the Hundred Tomorrows and Kuch Lafz Naqab Mein. She was honoured with the Women Achiever Award 2013 by Amar Ujala Rupayanan of ETV. The All India Radio has also honoured Leema by choosing her as the Youth Icon of the year 2013.
