APPLIQUE CURTAINS: Appliqué is the process of sewing smaller pieces of fabric onto a larger background fabric. It is a technique of forming a single pattern with different pieces of cloth. Pieces of fabric are applied on top of another for decorative or functional purposes.

Applique is a technique in which fabric scraps cut into various shapes are sewn onto a larger piece of fabric. It is a great way to upcycle fabric scraps which would otherwise add to the textile waste. In India applique is practiced in Rajasthan.
