The Premium Menstrual Q Cup is a menstrual hygiene device which is inserted into the V during menstruation. Its purpose is to collect menstrual fluid (blood from the uterine lining mixed with other fluids).  The Premium Menstrual Q Cup is made of 100% medical grade liquid silicone. It is shaped like a bell with a stem. The stem is used for insertion and removal. The bell-shaped cup seals against the V wall just below the cervix. Every 4–9 hours (depending on the amount of flow), the Q cup is removed, emptied, rinsed, and reinserted. After each period, the Q cup requires cleaning with clean water. Q cup collects menstrual fluid rather than absorbing it. 

 The Premium Menstrual Q Cup is reusable for up to 5 years. This makes The Premium Menstrual Q Cup's long-term cost lower than that of disposable tampons or pads making it more affordable than other menstrual hygiene products.
