Due to the growing impact of deforestation continuous efforts are being made by some anxious animal lovers to protect the endangered species of wildlife as well as those that are on the verge of extinction and thus save the world from running out its green heritage. The wildlife in India comprises a mix of species of different types of organisms. Apart from a handful of the major farm animals such as cows, buffaloes, goats, poultry, pigs and sheep, India has an amazingly wide variety of animals native to the country. It is home to Bengal tigers, deer, pythons, wolves, foxes bears, crocodiles, camels, wild dogs, monkeys, snakes, antelope species, varieties of bison and not to mention the mighty Asian elephant. Sanctuary is an area which is of adequate ecological, faunal, floral, geomorphological, natural or zoological significance. The Sanctuary is declared for the purpose of protecting, propagating or developing wildlife or its environment. Certain rights of people living inside the Sanctuary could be permitted. The idea behind writing of this book is neither to crate a phobia regarding the various parasitic diseases which can be transmitted to man and animal from wildlife not to lower the value of wildlife to man. The values of wildlife are numerous such as commercial recreational biotic scientific environmental educational emotional and aesthetic.
